Sudh Mahadev Temple

Jalandhara Mata Mandir
This is a very old temple in the premises of the Laddan Fort which was built by the Rajput rulers. This temple is situated outside walls of Laddan fort to the east side. The ancient temple is specially known for being built in completely of carved stone. The sculpture and the carving stone is very exquisite. Thetemple is west faced and has idol of Jalandara Mata in it.
Mata Jalandara was believed to be the kuldevi of the kings of Chenani. The temple was built by the earlier rulers who came to Chenani. The temple has 2 stone pillars near the front gate and 3 god idols are affixed in the temple on front face above the door. There are immensely beautiful carvings and designs on all sides of the temple showing love of the kings for religion and devotion. Due to improper maintenance the temple however is not in a grand position but it surely is one place which takes us to the historical background of Chenani.
